Book Woes
Good morning. I'm enjoying another sunny day at canp in Maine. I'm hoping to hop on my red bicycle and pedal to the beach later today. There is no place I love to read more than there. It'll be cool, though, but I'll wear my parka.
This book was a big disappointment after reading Crank by the same author. Pattyn is a Mormon teenager who questions her beliefs, has an abusive, alcoholic father, finds true love, (blah, blah, blah. Gag me!) Even the ending was unsatisfying. That was a wasted $7.95!
I lent Harlan Coben's latest to my mom and am not ready to read another Myron Bolitar novel, so I stopped into our school library before leaving school on Friday to pick something up for the weekend. I found The Broker by John Grisham. I've read about 50 pages and it's sounding very familiar. I'm pretty sure I've read it before. Damn!
Good thing I've got a book of poetry with me!

I hope you have a nice time at the beach today! Sounds like a heavenly place to read.
LOLOLOL! I just went through something like this! It was a Patterson book though and I didn't read it before, I'd watched the movie. The whole time I'm reading I'm thinking, someone must have written a book off his idea. It wasn't until the end that I knew...lol! I had to laugh at myself on that one.
I hate when that happens. I think that now that I have a blog I might be able to keep better track of the books that I read.
Oh no - nothing worse than being without a book and then finding the one you do have has been read before. Hope your poetry was enough to satisfy your reading urges.
