Sun and Son and Sunday

It's another sunny Sunday. How many in a row can we have? I love it!

We're at camp again and my son is visiting. I hope to ride my bike to the beach this afternoon and read for awhile.

Yesterday, I went into the Nonesuch Bookstore in Saco, Maine, and found a bunch of books that I can't wait to read! Sometimes small, independent bookstores are the best. I love the "Our Staff Recommends" section. I didn't buy anything, then, because I still have several books ahead of me to read, first, but we'll be here all summer and I'll have many chances to get them. And more time to read, too!

Finished this reread and actually enjoyed it more the second time. I missed quite a bit on the first go-round.

Has anone read his latest? I looked at it in Walmart but the subject matter didn't really appeal to me so didn't buy it. I liked most of his others, though.

My husband is stirring so I guess I'll have to start some breakfast. We're going to cook and eat it outdoors.

Sunny reading, everyone!

I love the text change on your posts!

Moving on to books...

I see a Jonathan Kellerman in the right sidebar. I love thrillers, but haven't read anything from him. Is he any good? I notice his books make it to the NY Times B/S list.

I like browsing through the staff recommends shelves too. Even some of the bigger stores are starting to do that now, I've noticed.

I haven't read Grisham's new book, but a coworker of mine read it and loved it. You have to take that with a grain of salt though since she loves everything Grisham and not much else. :-)

Enjoy the sunshine and your time outdorrs! It is overcast in my part of the world. From triple digit heat last weekend to thunderstorms and rain this weekend.
