The Associate by John Grisham

It's another drippy day here on the coast of Maine. I woke up early and finished my book.

I really enjoyed this book. It was an old-fashioned cloak and dagger spy type of novel and I couldn't put it down even though I wanted to read it more slowly so it would last longer.

Kyle McAvoy is blackmailed into taking a job with a big prestigious law firm in NYC so he can steal information. How he deals with this and tries to outsmart his handlers makes for an entertaining read.

Well, I hope the sun is shining in your neck of the world and that you get some reading time in today!

I'm glad you liked this one Linda. I haven't read a lot of Grisham. It was supposed to be warm here today but so far all I see is clouds and sprinkles. I hope it improves soon. Have a great Sunday.

It sounds like you had a good reading day. :-) I did get sunshine out my way, but did not manage to even crack open a book. Not even a little, can you believe it? So much for today's plans.

I haven't read a Grisham novel in years, but remember loving The Rainmaker. (Actually, this comment is a just an excuse so I can say how much I love your profile photo - so cute! I'm guessing that's you?)
