Three Weeks... and Ka-Ching!

Good Sunday morning! Our snow is finally beginning to melt and recede here in NH. I think there really will be a spring!

I literally could not put this book down and stayed up reading until I finished it Friday night.

Jack and Melissa have a beautiful adopted nine-month-old daughter. There was a glitch, though, with the final papers and the biological father did not sign off. Now, he and his father, a federal court judge want Angelina back. But what kind of parents would they be? And how far are Jack and Melissa willing to go to keep thier child? Great human characters and a non-stop plot make for a winner.

Poem: A Virtual Poetry Group is featuring a poem by Denise Duhamel called "Delta Flight 659: to Sean Penn" this month. I liked the poem so much that I ordered the book and picked it up Friday afternoon.

And I loved it! On first reading the poems are easy to understand and on a second reading, unveil even deeper meanings.

So, it's been a very good reading week. What about you?

I've never read anything by this author before. That's a pretty cool cover though. Believe it or not we had snow all weekend. Errrrrggggggg.
