A Cold Week

It's a gray morning here in NH and that fits my mood perfectly. I'm still hacking away from this nasty cold that I've been fighting for over a week now. I'm sitting here in my navy blue flannel pajamas with stars and moons on them and I might just stay in them all day.

This is a new book of poetry I just got. I read Alison Townsend's poem "Smoke" a few years ago and loved it and have been a fan ever since.

I think today will be a good day to get started on it.

I'm also still reading Cutting for Stone. It's a long book and very well written but not one I can race through.

So, I'll have plenty to read in between blowing my nose and coughing!

I hope you feel better soon. I think we all just need spring to come.

Sorry you're still fighting that cold. I remember mine hung on for a while. It's cold here too. We're having a spring storm. It just seems as though it's never planning on ending. I've got Cutting for Stone coming up soon too. It's a pretty big book. I love the cover on the book of poetry. Take care and get better!

It was a gray morning here in Southern California too. I hope you are feeling better soon, Linda. It took me forever to get over the nasty cold I had. I wouldn't blame you at all if you stayed in your PJ's all day. Sometimes you just have to do that.

I have been really curious about Cutting For Stone. I've heard wonderful things about it.

Take care of yourself and I hope you have a good week.
