Duma Key

Hallelujah!
Finally, after about ten years, Stephen King has written a novel I like.
I used to devour his books but then they got just plain weird.
Not so with this one. I've got about 30 pages left and I don't want to read it because then it will be done and I'll miss the characters.
This picture is of the front and back covers and is something I just keep looking at. It really captures the plot.
Maybe why I was so drawn to it is because it's about a man who suffers an accident and goes to Duma Key, just off the Sarasota coast, to heal and paint. My dream is to live near the ocean where I could write poetry and read and walk on the beach. Living vicariously by reading this? Absolutely! And I had a great time! Thank you very much, Mr. King!

I have read only one Stephen King. That too, four novellas in one hardcover. I have committed to read 8 of his books this year for a challenge.

Welcome to the world of book blogging! It is HUGE network out there!

Thanks for linking me. I have reciprocated.

As I am your first visiter, can I have some tea?!
