It's Sunday, Again

I'm sitting on the couch this Sunday morning watching the oak and pine trees flutter in the sunny breeze.

It's been a busy week taking care of upgrades around our campsite so I haven't read as much as I'd like. Usually, I get through quite a few pages when I get in bed at night but this week, I've been falling asleep almost right away.

So, I'm still working on and enjoying Songs of the Humpback Whale by Jodi Picoult. I've got less than 100 pags left so should finish up soon.

Enjoy your Sunday, everyone, and I hope you find time for some reading!

I hope you are liking Songs of the Humpbach Whale. I've read all of Jodi's books, and next to Picture Perfect, this one was my least favorite :(

The view from your couch sounds so nice, Nancy! Mine isn't quite so pleasant. Mostly brown grass and weeds. This time of year is so hard on the yard. Too much heat and restricted watering hours.

Sounds like you have been busy! I am glad to hear you are enjoying Songs of the Humpback Whale.

Have a great week, Linda!

Hi Linda,

Songs of the Humpback Whale was the third Picoult I read. Given it was her first published book, it's probably more enjoyable for those who haven't ready everything else (the themes in this book aren't quite as well defined as those of later books).

I enjoyed it, and several scenes have stayed with me (I read this two years ago, so that's not bad!)

Look forward to hearing your thoughts when you finish.
