I really tried to like this novel, I really did! But, somehow, I just couldn't get into it.
Theresa is a medical examiner engaged to Paul who is a cop. One day, while investigating a murder, Paul gets taken as a hostage in a bank heist. The whole book is about that and the characters just didn't appeal to me.
Maybe it was me and I just wasn't in the right frame of mind for this novel but I plugged away and was so glad to be done with it.
